Oh I do like to be beside the seaside....

Oh yes. The first girlie weekend holiday I had and I could not have asked for a better crew. Plan- Go to Brighton for the weekend. Crew- Anna, Brenda, Cookie, Angel. Weather: Against us all weekend!.
Oh yes. When we got to the seaside it was raining for the whole weekend. Typical. We did do what English do best though (after complaining about the weather). Grin and bear it. It was a crazy weekend though.. Friday saw me and Anna get there later then the rest of the girls due to work..After quicky dumping our bags in the Kipps hostel (that was right next to a strip joint-very handy) and seeing the beds that would be ours..I claimed a top one! :)

We went out drinking. Pub crawing to be exact.

Turns out that Brighton pubs are expensive. Did have enough shots and beer to get happily drunk though..including The famous Flaming one!

Managed to persuade the others to play drinking games..Suck and blow anyone..?

;p
As Blondie was down here, I made use of the fact and got him to take us to a house party. It was pissing down and we got so lost..Then when we arrived at the damn place the girls were pissed (not in the good way anymore) and wanted to leave. Calmed them down and flited among the other guests like a mad little pixie. Met my much in the pink fairy guy though:

He did show us a good show for more booze was though. He was not that mean.. This guy fixed my camera- he is my hero <3..i size="5">saved me from a cameraless existence..Thank you!

We retreated into someone's bedroom and gossiped and chatted til we got chucked out.

This to Anna was a great crime. No
one seemed to convince her that 4am was a reasonable time to stop the party when there was no other guests and no one really knew us!

The next day bore no joy from the rain.

Anna woke us all up in a hyper mood, and after the girls got ready (I don't use make up so I was hopping around impatient), we went for breakfast. I freaked the others by having a triple breakfast..I

Well, waste not want not huh..? The day was us doing the tourist things- Going to the pier, Posing in the rain..

(that umbella broke after 10 minutes due to the rain..(Very helpful!)

p
laying in the arcades,

going to the funfair (and been disappointed the weather was to bad go on the cool rides). Looked at the parks there

The shops were quirky though..

like Lust the sex shop

and Cyber Candy a retro sweet shop.

We did have a break to think of our next plan of action. Went to a free musical show that turned out to be Eastern European folk music, and dinner in an Indian Buffet. I freaked out people for the second time a
nd ate 7 Plates of food plus dessert. Digusting really!

While trying to find a good club, or at least figure where they are we when we stumbled on a Brighton festival. There was a show on the wall of the church, buses were decorated nicely and there was a man dressed in a dress singing Evita songs. Random to say the least.

o

We were going to go clubbing but accidentally wondered into the west end part of Brighton. It was trashy and filled with drunken people half dressed (or barely even that). Enough to make you never drink again. After an hour of unsuccessful searching for good clubs, we watched the waves and star glazed. I personally think it was one of the nicer parts of the trips.
Forgot to mention that Becky, Brenda's friend was also in Brighton and joined us for the day wondering round and eating :)

Got to cold to stay there for long though, so we had a hot chocolate instead. Tasty :)
Sunday had us eating our weight in various cake shops

and of course the fish and chips place.

The ice creams were massive as well..All that f0r only 2.50. Bargain..unfortunatly I was to busy talking to Claude on the phone and didn't realize it was melting so fast. It was called a monster. And nope, I did not finish it.Not even close.
It was better then Angel though, as a seagull ataacked her and ended up pooping on her leg! She said in a hopeful voice: "What was that?" in the hope we could tell her better news.

The Old coin arcade, from the Victirican times was a success as well. The machines had us all laughing or cringing. There were skilled games there.. and old fashioned comedy machines as well as mirrors. Anna also had her first taste of serbert I won so that was funny to see her face:

This one especially:

I fell in love with these as well- Biscuit jewllery. Amazing but expensive:

t was a sad time to leave and head back to the station though. I was tired and filled of Chips. I was not impressed by the fact the train was delayed for 2 hours and I had work in the morning. Serves me right for having so much fun :)

Thanks Guys!
