New year Joy..

There is an old saying that says how you send New year's eve and Day is how you will spend the rest of the year. It is with pleasure that I spent it with close friends and doing what I love most. Gossiping, eating choc, watching Anime and dancing.

New year's Eve was spent at Anna's with Brenda, Cookie, Amma and Claude. The original plan was to go to Garry and Iwona's in the scary south for their house party. Fate had different ideas though. Anna was ill (she went to Poland for Christmas and said she ate far to much..) so could not go out anywhere and pure stubbornness made the rest of us stay to.
I did not mind at all.
There was a mad dash to go to my place in Stepney for sweets and DVD's and a happy crowd of girlies talking nonsense.
My gameboy was also in popular demand that night.

We were having such a great chat we nearly missed the midnight mark and all heard up various glasses to cheer on the new year..

Claude was restless, departing on for greater entertainment and Amma also drifted off. Me and Cookie stayed though. Armed with a barrel full of tiredness we went to Anna's Flatmates room to sleep.

The next day was no better for poor Anna. She was ill all day. I spent the day chatting to Cookie.
The night was supposed to be going to BBB-Bastard Batty Bass.
Brenda graced us with her presence and Amma came back. Unfortunately no one wanted to stay to dance much, so after only half an hour only me and Amma were there.
We danced our troubles away, one beat at a time..

And more..

And more..

There was such a random crowd there, and I even spied a guy with a wheelchair bobbing along to the beat!

Sadly, even Amma had to go eventually, and after a quick chat to Anna we departed.

Let's hope the rest of 2010 is just as fun! :)

A day and a night Stalking People

Yes. I was being a really bad stalker these last two days..I stalked out both Tom and Claude.(With thier permission though!)

After work I went to see Tom and the Abbey Festival..Free music,Jazz and some plays from what I can tell..

.He works in the Threatre there, and sometimes gives me cheap tickets to see the shows there, at the mini bar and

I was tired and so was he. I talked crap, stole food and accidently remained him he was scared of letting me near his nipples..Bah.

Was being a cam whore though. As per usual..

Went round to Claude's the next day. She was redoing her room and was in the "house wife" phrase of buying a lot of housestuff. Candles, bed sheets and wall pictures being on the list. Still, I saw what she did so far..Loved this corner:

Lunch was good. As Claude is French, I expected great things from her. I was not disappointed..Tuna Salad, Rose wine and Ice cream. We even made a table so we could sit out in the garden..

We soon got restless, so when her mate James made the mistake of phoning us, we decided to crash round his. Getting some beer and sitting in the park made us want to chill with music..

That turned into a mini houseparty as his friend India was also there..We got a bit hyper and poor James bore the blunt of it.

We had this gel that was supposed to make breasts more firmer and toned. James "Volunteered" to test it with his moobs. It stank and as I had it slapped on my face by India, can safety say that it tingled weirder..James was not impressed. Yet to see the results though..

I convinced others to get Pizza after that.. Managed to get a free one. Awesome for me as I chose to eat veggie. The rest battled it out for the meat one. Still ate more then the 3 of them!
It got more and more rowdy. James was being teased mercilessly by all. Dirty dancing was occuring and the pizza and beer was making friends with the carpet.

Escaped from my own doing with Claude about 11.30, leaving with India's friendship and James with a messy room but good memories..:)

Wooh, 3 great events in 48 hours

Wooh. So I have been trying to become more social after hiding myself away from everyone. This is partly as I miss the laughs, adventures and company. Partly as I am secretly a party animal inhiding. Rawr.

The first of the three great events was meeting Rosie, Kyle and Harry for Lunch in Westfield. As usual we were driven to get food in Wagamamma-especially since Harry had 20% for working in the White Company. Awesome.

Oh, Harry got me these..Lifesavers fromAmerica. Lovely!

Gossip was caught up upon..
Rosie-Moving to Shelfield in October and the house party is the end of September
Harry-Going to Rome for a week.
Kyle-Looking for a job for the Summer and awaiting the results for the first year..

Okie, so it is hardly anythnig to cause shock to the world, but it was still good to catch up on..That and be Cam Whoress...

We did stumble on a free gig-Chipmonk..a up and rising Grunge star.To me it was only noise. I had to cover my ears in pain. urgh. Added the fact that the screaming fans were not helping..I was in hell. Urgh.

Shopping was more fun!

Soon had to escape to my next adventure...

Swap a Rama!

It was a event where people swapped clothes. All night. A brilliant way to socialise and meet new people..

Met up with Claude and Brenda in Old Street and raced towards the club...

It was pretty obvoius to find to be fair..

The music was a mixture of 70's to modern tracks. You know when the DJ's is talented when you need to go pee for the last half an hour and you think "After this song...One more track then I will go"...
The crowd was lively too..Good clothes for swapping and a lot of guys with poor negioation skills...I glanced around to see half the guy having only dresses, or swapping their tops for glasses! Only 3 women were down in bras..Aww haa haa.

I managed to get 2 nice tops and a denim skirt, Cluade got a sexy dress, while Brenda got her hands on a fitted top. All in all a good night..Same again next month!

Then the next night(Friday) I went out to see comedy with darling Brenda..She had a share ticket so I decided to claim it. It was a comedy about "the 10 Commandments". Not as edgy or shocking as they could have taken it.. But still an okie night..
We decided to have a mini pub crawl around Camden afterwards. We were horrified to discover there was not one good night advertised in the main clubs. For a Friday night, in the middle of the "Camden Fringe" event about half 10..Shocking. .
Seriously-House music and Cheese was to be found..
Did see a band I fell in love with..A band called "The Jonhson"..The lead singer was dressed as a cat for pete sake...Hair as cat ears!

Anyway..I was glad to get home..Fell in a coma ready for the Freerun competition tomorrow!

Triple Birthday love!

First off, let me say this:
Happy Birthday Darling Anna! Thanks for being there for me, thanks for being truly awesome and let us have a good time in East together!

Oh yes, It was Anna's Birthday and it happened in the heart of East London. It was awesome. As usual, I came round way to early in my heels and dress

The plan was to meet at Anna's, go to The star and then go off to rave at Trailer Trash..Still a fun time.
I got to meet Anna's lover Ross for the first time. He is lovely.I think I could listen to his voice the whole night..That is not a creepy thing to admit now is it..? Anyway, Sky the cute Japanese, Anna and Ross was mashing their birthdays together..Triple Birthday love!

The pub was cool. Anna knew the guy that owed it, so got a free room unstairs. About 50 Peeps came and soon all you could hear was the buzz of conversation..Yes, there was actual conversation..Even with the drinking going round. Soon after, Claude, Angel (cluade's close friend) and I went to Nandos to eat..We were kinda bored talking and I wanted some comfort food.

Tis all tasty, though we didn't finish all of it..Good job we didn't as the cake was cut and handed out. Brenda works in a bakery and managed to get such a nice cake. Truly it was amazing-Strawberry and Cream..Hmmm :) The party soon being herded towards the rave-Trailer Trash. It was hidden away, so it took us ages to find it. It was in a car park-the club was built around it. There was hay everywhere and a scary scarecrow on the stage.. Still it was a good night for a tenner. The music was so-so to my (indie trained) ears, but even I enjoyed it. The crowd seemed to be 30 something year olds, but as I knew a lot of Anna's friends it was not a problem. Anna was mental and danced like the queen she was. Claude sulked off as she wanted to go clubbing earlier and no one complyed (only to come back later). I was in a coma from coming straight from placement to the party, Brenda was the classic expression of "Grin and Bear it" asshe is more indie then me, and Angel was in her own world...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA!

The French and the BBQ

Summer nights go hand in Hand with BBQ don't you think..? I do like the thought of it-and so did Claude it seems..She decided to have one and tell the guests to bring different food. I was the first to come, armed with meat and Vodka. The BBQ was harder to manage then we realised. It was either all in flames or nothing. We evenually managed, through trial and error to get it to cook the burgers we made. Just before the other guests arrived at any rate! It was a good night! Anna had got these really spicy Polish sauauages, Brenda raped her bakery with all the rolls she got, and there was enough cakes to impress an armyas well.

Jokes were exchanged and the usual topics of parties-people and relationships set the tone for the evening. I was disappointed to have to leave so early-Placement awaited me the next morning..-Sigh- C'est la vie huh..? :)

A local event is always the best

Deciding to go to the Lavender Hill festival before a night shift was good and bad. Good, as I had the chance to catch up with a certain Miss Bigot. Bad as I was tired as hell all night. The Lavender Hill festival was to highlight..well Lavender Hill-a street near to Clapham Junction. It has all sorts..Circus performers, free wine, Stalls..even a dog show. It was good clean fun. I did get tispy on the wine though..The guy gave us 2 glasses each..Two full glasses may I add. I also embarrassed myself trying to spinplates..Managed to remember it in the end.Claude did not do as well..

Think I will stick to the diablo!

We won a prize to! There was a puzle-guess the 10 different joints. We did it the fastest the stall people said :)

There was some sexy necklesses she got, but me being broke had to settle for a pair of earrings whichI then lost.. Still, after we got to sleep in the sun on the green before heading off home. Bliss.
