The first of the three great events was meeting Rosie, Kyle and Harry for Lunch in Westfield. As usual we were driven to get food in Wagamamma-especially since Harry had 20% for working in the White Company. Awesome.
Oh, Harry got me these..Lifesavers fromAmerica. Lovely!
Gossip was caught up upon..
Rosie-Moving to Shelfield in October and the house party is the end of September
Harry-Going to Rome for a week.
Kyle-Looking for a job for the Summer and awaiting the results for the first year..
Okie, so it is hardly anythnig to cause shock to the world, but it was still good to catch up on..That and be Cam Whoress...
We did stumble on a free gig-Chipmonk..a up and rising Grunge star.To me it was only noise. I had to cover my ears in pain. urgh. Added the fact that the screaming fans were not helping..I was in hell. Urgh.
Shopping was more fun!
Soon had to escape to my next adventure...
Swap a Rama!
It was a event where people swapped clothes. All night. A brilliant way to socialise and meet new people..Met up with Claude and Brenda in Old Street and raced towards the club...
It was pretty obvoius to find to be fair..
The music was a mixture of 70's to modern tracks. You know when the DJ's is talented when you need to go pee for the last half an hour and you think "After this song...One more track then I will go"...
The crowd was lively too..Good clothes for swapping and a lot of guys with poor negioation skills...I glanced around to see half the guy having only dresses, or swapping their tops for glasses! Only 3 women were down in bras..Aww haa haa.
I managed to get 2 nice tops and a denim skirt, Cluade got a sexy dress, while Brenda got her hands on a fitted top. All in all a good night..Same again next month!
Then the next night(Friday) I went out to see comedy with darling Brenda..She had a share ticket so I decided to claim it. It was a comedy about "the 10 Commandments". Not as edgy or shocking as they could have taken it.. But still an okie night..
We decided to have a mini pub crawl around Camden afterwards. We were horrified to discover there was not one good night advertised in the main clubs. For a Friday night, in the middle of the "Camden Fringe" event about half 10..Shocking. .
Seriously-House music and Cheese was to be found..
Did see a band I fell in love with..A band called "The Jonhson"..The lead singer was dressed as a cat for pete sake...Hair as cat ears!
Anyway..I was glad to get home..Fell in a coma ready for the Freerun competition tomorrow!
:)
